چکیده

La temperatura es el estímulo para el comienzo de la actividad, mientras que la supervivencia depende de la humedad. Las condiciones climáticas modifican la actividad estacional de las garrapatas. Las ninfas son el principal vector de la enfermedad para el hombre. Por ello, el mayor riesgo de adquirir la enfermedad es durante el período de actividad de las ninfas: la primavera en zonas no húmedas y el verano en zonas con cierta humedad. Las ninfas pueden estar activas durante todo el año en las zonas más húmedas y templadas de España, como en la Cornisa Cantábrica.
